The build itself, running in the frame. Scroll inside it, or open it in its own tab below.

Air 2px corners, no shadows, no cards, nothing above 44px, and a great deal of nothing. Restraint doing the work colour usually does. Open it on its own →

The problem

Joining meant downloading a Word document, printing it, and posting it. The function room is the highest-margin thing the club sells and it was one line on the contact page.

What I did

  • Membership enquiry as a form that lands in the secretary's inbox the same minute.
  • Green fees and visitor rules on one page, as a table, with the dates they change.
  • The function room given its own page with capacities, layouts and what is included.
  • Competition results published from the spreadsheet the club already keeps.

What it proves

The same standards as paid work: a performance budget it has to come in under, WCAG 2.2 AA as a floor rather than a finish, and no page that takes six seconds on a phone. Nobody briefed this and nobody signed it off, which is the honest limit of what a concept can show you.

The next step

Let's find out if I'm the right fit.

Twenty minutes on the phone. You tell me what isn't working, I tell you what I'd do and what it costs. If it's not me you need, I'll say so.

Or call 07700 900123. I reply within one working day.
