The problem

A template site with stock photographs of handshakes and no prices anywhere. Every enquiry opened with "how much do you charge", which is a question a website can answer before the phone rings.

What I did

  • Fees published per service, with what is included and what is not.
  • A short qualifying form, so the first call is about the work rather than the basics.
  • The deadlines clients actually miss, kept on one page and dated.
  • Two case-shaped explainers written for people who do not do this for a living.

What it proves

The same standards as paid work: a performance budget it has to come in under, WCAG 2.2 AA as a floor rather than a finish, and no page that takes six seconds on a phone. Nobody briefed this and nobody signed it off, which is the honest limit of what a concept can show you.

The next step

Let's find out if I'm the right fit.

Twenty minutes on the phone. You tell me what isn't working, I tell you what I'd do and what it costs. If it's not me you need, I'll say so.

Or call 07700 900123. I reply within one working day.
